Graphic Design agency Loudmouth commissioned me to create the cover art for Uitgeverij Vrijdag's new book 'Bedrieg Mij' ('Deceive Me'), in which Philip Van den Bossche writes about the phenomenon of cuckoldry. The word derives from cuckoo, the bird which lays eggs in other birds' nests. According to its newly coined meaning, a cuckold is a man who gains gratification from having a wife who dates other men, often with his approval. The last to know of his wife's infidelity, a cuckold is said to be "wearing horns" which can be seen by everybody but himself.
